Saying good bye to a beloved family member is never easy. The process can be made easier by allowing your pet to remain in the comfort of home. This is especially helpful for pets with mobility problems or that do not travel well. Your family can also have comfort and privacy during this difficult time. Dr. Karner will administer your pet a relaxing sedative using a very small needle. Once fully relaxed, the euthanasia medication is administered into a vein and works very quickly. You and your family are welcome to be present for the entire procedure. Arrangements for us to care for the remains can also be made. Please call or email the office for more details on availability and pricing. While prices vary based on your pet's weight and distance, $300.00 is a typical starting price. You do not have to be a client of Muddy Creek Animal Clinic to take advantage of this service, however, advanced scheduling is necessary in most cases (2-3 weeks).
